What is the Co-op about?
A cooperative, often shortened to “co-op,” is owned and operated by and for the benefit of its members.

A co-op is formed when a group of people want to create something for the need of the community.

We have a housing co-op, where we create a safe and community centered living experience.

Members purchase a share of the co-op when moving in, and will get that same amount back when leaving the co-op.

Part of being in our co-op means that you attend the general meetings (happens 3 times a year) and one Annual General Meeting. One voting member from each apartment is asked to attend.

Part of being in a co-op means that you are part of a smaller committee which is run by a board member. The committee gets together a few times a year, and you will have responsibilities throughout the year.

The co-op is a neighborly place to live, where we all help out around the co-op in many various ways.
